Nella's notes for Dec/Jan 2021

Before I post last month's newsletter I wanted to bring you some suggestions for the first of the year.
How about some cleansing?
I'm currently on a juice/smoothie/veggies only cleanse. I've already lost my Christmas extra pounds and I'm feeling better. After indulging I'm always ready for the daily routine for better eating and my herbal program.
I also have been doing 4 detoxing coffee retention enemas daily. If you want to start this program, let me know. There are some supplements you must take along with detoxing so you don't mess with your electrolytes.
Also, NSP offers many great cleanses. One of the favorites for newcomers is "Clean Start" and it is a 2 week cleanse. It fits in with any other program you want to follow. Check out the Nature's Sunshine Products button on this website to get pricing.
One of my nieces, Kenzie Jenkins who is a neonatal nurse, got married in December and the whole family camped out at the closest state park. She had an outdoor wedding and another niece, Katelyn McDonald, and I shared Kate's umbrella. It was cold so we were bundled up! One of my gifts to the brides for Christmas was the spray germ killer called BioGuard from NSP. Because she uses so much of the nasty smelling other stuff she asked if I could order her another bottle. She loved the smell of the essential oils in it!
Hello little Sunshine Drops!
Thank you for subscribing to my blog/website. I missed posting the last newsletter when it was relevant, but it was a good one so I'm gonna post some of it even after the fact.
Well , you survived Thanksgiving without indulging too much. You showed some restraint and self-control and I’m proud of you. But the big event of the year will be a challenge so I give you permission to indulge with temperance then start Jan with a new determination to get back to the recommended healthy diet: Daily salad, 30 oz of a green smoothie, 35 oz of juiced carrots, apples and misc, a baked potato every day, veggie soup daily and some detoxing with coffee retention enemas. On weekends indulge in baked fish and rice and Sunday dinner a small portion of a meat of your choice.
Anyone else talks to themselves? LOL. I’m almost ready for Jan eating before I even start the holidays. I feel so much better when I do.
One thing I don’t forget or change and that is my Herb Program. The Food Enzymes, gut health like probiotics, and around 300.00 worth of a slew of other wonderful NSP formulas. I’ll depend on them to get me through.
Remember:
I also post videos on FaceBook and Instagram almost weekly. Friend me! I try to keep them short and the newer ones are shorter than ever.
WOW! The TOP SR Consultant for this month is Rhonda Hendrix, CH!
I’m beyond proud of my sister Rhonda . We were old maids when we learned about herbs and we attended all the seminars and classes we could. Rhonda got married and had two (at-home-herbal) children and never stopped her use of Nature’s Sunshine herbs. Pictured here are Bobby, Rhonda, and Ranessa Hendrix that make up a talented singing group called The Hendrix Trio. www.thehendrixtrio.com
following close behind her are other consultants who work hard all year:
· Robin Billings
· Corinna Billings
· Tonya McDonald
· Windell Splawn
· Armida Rivas
· Rebekah Gonzales
· Judy & Michael Brooks
· Brenda Upchurch
· Heather Jenkins Bell, CH
· Jessica Shenkir
· Judy Gray
I’m blessed by all your hard work.
Tidbits and Misc form classes I’ve recently attended or stuff I’ve read…
Dathan Wedel, son of Joan Vandergriff, (who gave me my first bottle of herbs), told me more details behind the Tei-Fu products NSP carries.
He said “The original creator of the tei ful recipe worked at NSP and carried his own concoction around with him sharing with others. They used it for various ailments with huge success.
He told them it had been passed down in his family for generations from father to son. Word eventually got around about the oil and how it helped people. The powers that be traveled all the way to Japan to meet the grandfather and find out the ingredients. They eventually bought the rights to the product and named it after him, Tei-Fu Chin.
Sally also commented on the Tei-Fu and says she uses it for fish hook wounds, allergies, sinus, bug bites, seizures in daughter’s dog, headache, sore throat, and drops in a diffuser, just to name a few things.
I used this Tei Fu Lotion on a client’s back lately and it helped relieve the pain of sciatica and tight lower back muscles. It’s not a permanent cure but it sure helps for temp relief.

I have two new students since the first of the year and I'm excited!
Keep working yawl. You will be proud of your name on a certificate for sure!
If you wish to become a Certified Herbalist I encourage you to do so. I was so honored to receive my certificates and put them on the wall.
Even though I knew most of what I had just learned by self-studying, it felt good to get some validation. And when I had my retail store, it helped the customer’s feelings, like they could SEE I had some knowledge. I tried to never betray that feeling. If I didn’t know the answer, I would reply, “Let me do some research on that, and I’ll get back to you.” People respect that.
I was honored to give Ranessa her Certificate in person. I love doing that! Ranessa is my niece and webmaster . Email her at graphics@rdesignstxk.com
I’m so proud of her talents.
Testimony time:
RDH: Since my granddaughter, Gracelynn, has started eating the NSP gummies and probiotics (she is 6) she has only been slightly sick one day. Normally it’s 2-3 times a year. I’m so thankful.
*There are about 100 trillion microorganisms living in the gut that have a variety of important roles: helping you absorb nutrients from the food you eat, improving your immune system’s response to infection, and producing hormones that are essential for your emotional well-being. Many of these microorganisms are probiotics, otherwise known as the good bacteria that provide health benefits for your body.
*(I copied this from Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s post on LinkedIn.)
Sounds like your gut and the food you eat have a direct link to your emotional feelings such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, over excitement, and bipolar problems.
The herbs I would take for getting the gut back in shape would be: Probiotic Eleven, HP Protease, Proactazyme, Food Enzymes, PDA, Methyl combo, Intestinal Sooth and Build, Liquid Chlorophyll, Ultimate Green Zone, Aloe Vera Juice, Spirulina, and Kelp just to name a few. I would also delete gluten and junk foods including sodas. Hyper-nourishment like green smoothies and juiced veggies are the fastest way to relieve those problems!
** I have an extra juicer if you need one.
